UGC NET 2012 OFFLINE APPLICATION

           Due to unprecedented increase in the number of candidates willing to apply during the last days of online registration for the ensuing NET examination scheduled to be held on 24th June, 2012, it has been observed that the students are facing difficulty in submitting online application. In order to overcome this problem and keeping in view the paucity of time, UGC has decided that such candidates, who have paid the prescribed fee through Bank Challan by the due date, i.e., 2nd May, 2012 and are not able to submit their application online, may now apply in offline mode. They are, therefore, advised to download the Application Form (to be filled in duplicate), Admission Card and Attendance Slip from  http://www.ugcnetonline.in/  and also from  http://www.ugc.ac.in/.




        The last date for submitting the hard copies of duly filled in applications along with original fee receipt & attested copies of category certificate(s), has now been extended up to May 10, 2012.



NOTE: It may be noted that all such candidates who have already registered themselves successfully in online mode and have submitted the hard copies of the application to the chosen centre NEED NOT APPLY AGAIN THROUGH OFFLINE MODE.

Qualification:
Forest Section Officer (FSO):

Educational Qualification: Must process a Bachelor's Degree in Botany or Forestry or
Horticulture or Zoology or Physics or Chemistry or Mathematics or Statistics or Geology or
Agriculture as a subject or a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with Chemical Engineering or
Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering of any Universities of India, established or
incorporated by or under a Central Act, State Act or Provincial Act or an Institution recognised by
the University Grants Commission or an equivalent qualification.

Forest Beat Officer (Forest Beat Officer):
Educational Qualification: Must have passed Intermediate examination or its equivalent.

Assistant Beat Officer (ABO), Thanadar, Bungalow watcher, Plantation watcher:
Educational Qualification: Must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent.

Pay Scales:

Forest Section Officer (FSO) - Rs. 10020–29200
Forest Beat Officer (FBO) - Rs. 7960 – 23650
Assistant Beat Officer (ABO) - Rs. 7520 – 22430
Thanadar - Rs. 7100 – 21250
Bungalow watcher - Rs. 6700 – 20110
Plantation watcher - Rs. 6700 – 20110
Physical Requirements:


a. Height :163 Cms (Male) 150 Cms (Female)
b. Chest in full inspiration: 84 Cms (Male) 79 Cms (Female)
c. Must have a chest expansion of not less than 5 Cms of full inspiration.
d. Relaxable of 5 Cms height in ST candidates.
e. Physically handicapped candidates not eligible.
f. Normal eyesight.
Age:
 The age of the applicant should be between 18 years to 30 years age as on 01.07.2012.
(In case of SC / ST / BC maximum age limit shall be 35 years).
